Veronica ciliata subsp. cephaloides : a new record for the flora of Himachal Pradesh (India) with an updated checklist of the genus Veronica in India

Abstract

Veronica ciliata subsp. cephaloides (Pennell) D.Y. Hong is reported here as a new record to the flora of Himachal Pradesh from Sechu Tuan Nalla Wildlife Sanctuary, Pangi, district Chamba. The species was previously reported from Sikkim and Uttarakhand. A brief description of the taxon, key to closely allied taxa and photographs of habitat and plant are provided to facilitate easy identification.
