Abstract

Neem fruits collected from eight agro-climatic zones of Gujarat state were analyzed for variation in seed index, seed kernel to seed ratio and chemical constituents viz., fatty oil and azadirachtin content. Method was optimised for quantitative estimation of azadirachtin content in neem seed kernels using high performance liquid chromatography. The azadirachtin content was estimated in neem seed kernels using this optimised method.
