Less known herbal remedy for gastritis used in Lakhimpur district of Assam, India

Abstract

A less known herbal preparation of 3 Angiospermic plant species used for gastritis by local inhabitants around Kakoi Reserve forest of Lakhimpur, Assam is reported in this paper. Methodology of this herbal preparation and other uses of these plant species recorded from the district along with vernacular names, identifying characters and habitats are also provided in this communication.
