Abstract

The present study is an effort to analyze the effect of Agrogreen, one such formulation on the growth and flowering of Rainbow Ginger (Curcuma aurantiaca Zijp.), an important potential ornamental ginger that is common in South and South East Asia. Agrogreen treatment resulted in healthy and uniform growth of the plants. The treated plants showed reduced plant height and compact habit making them dwarfer, healthier and more attractive. Flowering started earlier producing inflorescences with more compactly arranged bracts and flowers.  The plants became more vigorous with uniform flowering.
