Survey and biological activity of some ethnomedicinal plants

Abstract

The present communication deals with twenty five medicinal plants used by the tribal communities, viz., Tharu, Bhotia, Bhoxa, Gond, Kol, Chenchu, Santal, Reddy, etc. in their health care practices. Each plant is provided with its botanical name, important synonym, family, tribal name(s), medicinal uses and biological activity.
